Classic rock and Southern cooking return to North Jersey in a big way as the 5th annual Rock, Ribs & Ridges festival moves to its new home at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, June 28-29, 2014.

Presented by Franklin Sussex Auto Mall, Rock, Ribs & Ridges is an annual, two-day celebration of great music from legendary artists and mouthwatering barbecue served up by award-winning regional chefs as the summer music and barbecue season heat up.

George Thorogood & The Destroyers (40 years) and Grand Funk Railroad (45 years) celebrate big anniversaries and head an All-Star concert lineup which features Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Artimus Pyle from Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Outlaws, New Riders of the Purple Sage and Mountain’s Leslie West. Nine concerts are scheduled over the two days.

Festival-goers will also enjoy great comfort food and Southern cooking as top regional chefs compete for thousands of dollars in prize money and the coveted titles of “Best Ribs,” “Best Sauce,” and “Weis Markets People’s Choice.”

Moving to the Fairgrounds allows the festival to continue to grow with an exciting new layout and amenities such as expansive space for new VIP seating and parking options as well as on-site RV and camping.
